Tuface Arrest news has been trending across social media, especially after a viral video claimed to show Nigerian music legend 2Baba (Tuface Idibia) being handcuffed by UK police. But what is the truth? Was Tuface really arrested, or is it all just an online rumour?
Tuface Idibia – also known as 2Baba – is one of Africa’s most respected musicians.
With hit songs like African Queen and a decades-long career, he is a household name in Nigeria and across the world. Because of his fame, even unverified rumours about him spread very quickly online.
The rumour began after a video went viral in late 2025.
The video appears to show:
Social-media bloggers claimed the arrest happened after an alleged altercation between Tuface and his wife, Natasha. But the video has not been verified by any official authority.
As of the latest updates, UK police have not issued any statement confirming an arrest of Tuface.
Tuface publicly explained that he missed a UK event in October 2025 because of a medical emergency, not because he was detained.
No credible news organisation has verified the clip. The identity of the man in the video is still unclear.
There are no public court filings or police documents linking Tuface to an arrest in the UK.
Not at this point.
There is no confirmed evidence that Tuface was arrested. Until police, the courts, or Tuface’s management release official information, the rumour remains unverified.
It is best to treat the Tuface arrested story as a social-media rumour, not a confirmed event.
Here’s the simple answer:
For now, the story remains unconfirmed and based on speculation, not facts.
Always rely on verified news sources, not viral clips, when it comes to celebrity incidents.
