Was Josh Giddey Arrested?

No, Josh Giddey has NOT been arrested.

There are no police records, no court documents, and no official announcements showing that the NBA star has been arrested at any time.

The rumors mostly came from social media after allegations surfaced in late 2023.

Why Did People Think Josh Giddey Was Arrested?

In November 2023, online posts accused Giddey of being involved in an inappropriate relationship with a minor. These claims quickly went viral and led to:

• A police investigation in Newport Beach, California
• An internal review by the NBA

Because of this, many people assumed he would be arrested – but that never happened.

What Did the Police Find?

After weeks of investigation, the Newport Beach Police Department announced:

• They found no corroborating evidence to support the allegations
• They would not file any charges
• The investigation was formally closed on January 18, 2024

Since no crime could be proven, there was no arrest and no legal action.

What Did the NBA Decide?

Following the police decision:

• The NBA closed its own investigation in May 2024
• No disciplinary action was taken
• Giddey was cleared to continue playing with no restrictions

Again, this confirms the claim josh giddey arrested is not true.

Why Are the Rumors Still Spreading?

• Old allegations continue to circulate on social media
• Some people confuse being investigated with being arrested
• New unrelated incidents, such as minor on-court confrontations, make his name trend again
• Sensational posts often spread faster than factual updates

This is why the phrase josh giddey arrested continues to show up online.
