A video that shows a snowboarder being chased by a bear went viral on the internet. Many people were shocked and asked the same question that the snowboarder chased by bear video is real or fake?
Let’s find out the truth behind this trending video.
What Happens in the Video?
The video shows a woman snowboarding down a slope in Japan while listening to music. Behind her, a large brown bear can be seen running after her. The woman seems completely unaware of the danger.
The clip is dramatic and scary – but is it real?
Snowboarder Chased by Bear Real or Fake
The Answer is it is Fake.
After several expert reviews and media investigations, the answer is clear that the snowboarder chased by bear video is fake.
Why It is Not Real
Here are some strong reasons why the video is not real:
The Bear Species Doesn’t Match Japan
The video claims to be filmed in Hakuba, Japan, but brown bears are not found in that area. Japan has Asiatic black bears, not brown ones.
It Was Created by a Production Company
The video was made by The Woolshed Co., an Australian company that creates viral videos. They admitted that the bear was added using video editing and special effects.
Fake Sounds
Many viewers noticed that the bear’s growl sounds like a stock audio file. It does not match the environment.
Camera and Movement Clues
The video seems too perfect. The timing, angles, and bear’s movement look staged and edited. Also, the snowboarder doesn’t react at all, which is unusual if a bear was really that close.
Conclusion
So, is the snowboarder chased by bear real or fake?
It is fake. It was never a real bear chase. It was made to look real for entertainment and to go viral online.
